By accessing or using AbdiTrade (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. AbdiTrade reserves the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Users under 18 must have parental or legal guardian consent.
You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
3. Marketplace Rules
Listings
All listings must accurately describe the item's condition, edition, and authenticity.
Counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited items are strictly forbidden.
Sellers must ship items within the timeframe specified in their listing.
AbdiTrade reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these terms.
Transactions
All purchases are processed securely through Stripe.
Buyers must verify their shipping address before completing a purchase.
Sellers receive payment after the buyer confirms receipt or after the auto-complete period.
AbdiTrade charges a platform fee on each transaction (see current fee schedule in the app).
Trading
Both parties must agree to the terms of a trade before it is initiated.
All traded items must be shipped with tracking within the specified deadline.
AbdiTrade is not liable for trades conducted outside the platform.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
List counterfeit, stolen, or misrepresented cards
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Manipulate prices or engage in shill bidding
Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions
Use automated tools to scrape data or submit transactions
Attempt to conduct transactions outside the platform to avoid fees
Post offensive, hateful, or illegal content in guilds or messages
Interfere with the proper functioning of the App
5. Fees & Payments
AbdiTrade charges a platform fee on completed sales (displayed before listing).
Payment processing fees are handled by Stripe and may vary by payment method.
Seller payouts are processed according to the current payout schedule.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis per our refund policy.
Chargebacks resulting from fraudulent seller activity may result in account suspension.
6. Intellectual Property
The AbdiTrade name, logo, and app design are proprietary. Trading card names, images, and brands referenced on the platform belong to their respective owners (Wizards of the Coast, The Pokémon Company, Konami, Bandai Namco, Ravensburger, etc.). AbdiTrade is not affiliated with or endorsed by any card game publisher.
7. Disputes & Resolution
Transaction disputes should first be resolved between buyer and seller via in-app messaging.
If unresolved, either party may open a support ticket for mediation.
AbdiTrade's Trust & Safety team will review evidence and make a final determination.
Decisions by the Trust & Safety team are binding for platform-related matters.
8. Account Suspension & Termination
AbdiTrade may suspend or terminate your account if you:
Violate these Terms of Service
Engage in fraudulent activity
Receive multiple verified complaints from other users
Fail to fulfill marketplace obligations repeatedly
AbdiTrade is a marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for:
The quality, authenticity, or condition of items sold by third-party sellers
Shipping delays or lost packages (disputes should be filed with the carrier)
Loss of data beyond what is covered in our Privacy Policy
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using the platform
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of AbdiTrade shall be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
